May 12, 2010... Well, it is almost the middle of May already, amazing how the time flies when you spend every free minute you are not working at your day job building fence or tending to the herd. We have had a great year thus far, thank you to everyone who purchased show prospects and breeding stock from JKL. We are in the middle of our second kid crop of the year, and are getting some solid, traditional fullbloods out of our primary herdsire "Hoss Power". We also have been pleased by the first kids out of our junior herdsire "Little Warrior", a great-grandson of "War Paint". He is producing quality, and colorful kids. We will have some fullblood doelings for sale in the coming months, and have a nice class of replacement doelings developing.
